ABOUT THE 2050 LONG RANGE TRANSPORTATION PLAN

The 2050 Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) shapes the future of transportation in Sarasota and Manatee Counties for the next three decades. It clearly outlines the key projects and investments needed to improve mobility, safety, and accessibility across various transport modesβ€”including roads, public transit, and paths for pedestrians and cyclists.

Developed through broad community involvement and detailed expert analysis, the 2050 LRTP is designed to boost economic growth and enhance the quality of life by creating a resilient and efficient transportation network that meets the needs of both counties.
